I am saddened, and I shed tears ro the loss of my friend. “Dickie@ was more than just a friend. We were more like family, we grew up together on the Mill Village in Fountain Inn. He was fun to be around, he always had a smile (well most of the time) sometimes we would get mad with one another like most kids do. But we did not want any body else to try and fight with us, for we always took up for each other. We were together quiet a lot,. We had a lot of good times, Larry, Dickie and I would camp out in the back yard, and played like cowboys and soldiers. I know that all who knew Dickie, will miss him. To all the family I share the hurt and and will miss him . Rest in Peace my friend, Will see you in the House. “When you have been there ten thousand years, a million maybe two, “look for me. for I will be there too”.
My dear brother has left me so saddened.
I WILL MISS HIM DEARLY
He was a force to be dealt with at times, but he was also the person that would give you the shirt from his back
Rest in peace
Love you
Sister Pat

I will always remember Dickey, We had some wonderful times growing up on the mill hill, I remember the times when we would go to Krispy Kream on Augusta Street and get a dozen doughnuts for 50 cents, now they are over 1 dollar each the last time I bought them. Rest in peace my friend. Roy Painter
