Mildred Vivian Carty
Mildred Vivian Carty, 100, of Simpsonville, widow of R. Lee Carty, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, January 30, 2021.
Born in Gary, IN, she was a daughter of the late Alford and Jennie Cox. Mrs. Carty celebrated her 100th birthday in November 2020 and was the oldest member of Calvary Baptist Church in Simpsonville.
Mrs. Carty is survived by her children, Daniel Carty and his wife, Carolyn, Camelia Carty Smith, and David Carty and his wife, Linda; grandchildren, Sara Rosenau, Bethany Williamson, Kevin Smith, Jennifer Smith, Becky Joyner, Lori George, and Janice Tiffany; 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Dewayne Cox.
She was preceded in death by one grandchild, two sisters, and three brothers.
Interment will be in Michigan.
