Maxie Burdette

David Maxie Burdette, 38, of Simpsonville, husband of Stephanie Burdette, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 6, 2016.

Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Billy Burdette and Jan Burdette and the proud father of two sons, Riley and Ben.

He was preceded in death in April of this year by his father Billy Burdette.

Maxie was of the Baptist faith, was a graduate of Clemson University and worked many years for PrimeLending. As an avid Clemson fan, he was a long-standing IPTAY member. He had a deep love for his wife, Stephanie, and sons, Riley and Ben, and all of his family and friends. He thoroughly enjoyed time spent with them, especially at Clemson football games and the lake.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Eastlan Baptist Church in Greenville with Dr. Benjamin Littlejohn officiating.

Interment will be in Graceland East Memorial Park immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to IPTAY Clemson University or The American Cancer Society.
