Marilyn K. Shely
Marilyn Kuehl Shely, 90, of Gray Court, SC, widow of Marvin Lee Shely, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024. Born in Avon Lake, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Hilda Koestel Kuehl.
Marilyn was a business owner for many years and homemaker. She loved animals, especially cats. She had many hobbies such as cooking, baking, and reading; and was a lifetime member of the South Carolina Arms Collectors Association.
Marilyn is survived by two sons, Scott Shely (Gina) and Lee Shely (Judy); and one granddaughter, Mylissa L. Shely (Zack Alldredge).
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Alfred Kuehl.
A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. in Cannon-Byrd Memorial Park, 1150 N. Main St, Fountain Inn, SC 29644.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Greenville Humane Society and/or Hope Church- Simpsonville.
