Marian K. Bramlett
Marian K. Bramlett, 89, widow of Richard W. Bramlett, entered Heaven on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. She was the first child of the late Lawrence and Ora Dodson King.
Marian’s entire life was devoted to every church she attended. She previously taught Sunday School and sang in the choirs of each church where she and Richard were members. Marian grew up in Simpsonville and played the piano at Simpsonville First Baptist Church. She was a Deacon at Earle Street Baptist Church where she was a member of the Friends Fellowship Sunday School class, the XYZ Group, and very active in Homebound Ministries. She graduated from Simpsonville High School and completed the Nurses Training Program at Greenville General Hospital.
Marian is survived by her nieces and nephews, Gerald Jones, Lynne Edwards, Robin Arnold, Charles Jones, Tony King; and sister-in-law, Betty King.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Fran Howard; a sister, Wilma Jones; a brother, Ed King; and a nephew, Eddie King.
Her Memorial Service will be held at Earle Street Baptist Church on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 2:00 PM with Dr. Stephen Clyborne officiating.
The family will receive friends starting at 1:00 PM prior to the service.
Interment will be private in Cannon Memorial Park in Fountain Inn, SC.
