Larry Lee Hall

Larry Lee Hall, 85, of Pelzer, a devoted husband of 62 years to Delores Hall, peacefully transitioned to his eternal rest on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Larry is survived by his four sons, Don (Lisa O’Connell) Hall, Steven (Karen) Hall, Alan Hall, and Michael (Marianne) Hall. His memory lives on through his 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and his brother-in-law Jim (Irene) Bechtle.

Preceded in death by 10 siblings, Larry’s life was marked by a deep sense of family, love, and commitment. A man of many talents and passions. Larry was a dedicated father, a skilled math teacher, and an assistant high school football coach.

Larry’s involvement extended to the little league baseball field, where he coached his sons, instilling in them the values of teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship. His role as a father was marked by dedication, kindness, and active involvement in every aspect of his children’s lives.

Larry’s love extended beyond his immediate family to his church community, where he found solace and purpose. He was a man of faith, dedicating himself to the service of others and leaving a lasting impact on those around him.

An avid sports enthusiast, Larry enjoyed cheering for the Kansas Jayhawks and sharing in the thrill of competition. His interests extended to camping, reading westerns, and spending quality time with his loved ones.

Larry graduated from Fort Hays State University in 1961 with a bachelor’s degree and furthered his education at Kansas State Teachers College of Emporia, earning a master’s degree in 1966.

On December 28, 1961, Larry married the love of his life, Delores Bechtle. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and enduring commitment.
