Jesse Elmore Moree

Jesse Moree, 85, of Simpsonville, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014.

Jesse was the husband of the late Sarah Hudson Moree and the son of the late Isaac Moree and the late Molly Nix Moree.

He was of the Baptist faith and a member of East Georgia Road Baptist Church and served his country in the United States Navy.

Jesse is survived by a daughter, Shirley Hipps and her husband Steve of Simpsonville; a son, Tyson Moree and his wife Jennifer of Easley; three grandchildren, Shelly Clark and her husband Sammy of Simpsonville, Shane Hipps and Tammy of Simpsonville, and Tyson Hunter Moree, Jr of Easley; four great-grandchildren, Bray Clark, Barrett Clark, Alex Brock, and Charleston Hipps; a sister, Mae Barbery and her husband, Dr. Curtis Barbery, of NC; and a sister-in-law, Sarah Ellen Moree of Simpsonville.

He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Moree; one brother and three sisters.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2014 in the Mausoleum Chapel of Graceland East Cemetery from 2:00 – 3:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be at 3:00 pm in the Mausoleum Chapel. Graveside will follow the service.
