I first met James when I was small engine mechanic working for Prue Huff Exxon in Simpsonville. I had the pleasure of meeting James and repairing his chainsaws and other equipment as his company was beginning to grow. I really enjoyed working with James and later his son Ricky and grandson Brent. I also enjoyed working with him on the oyster roast and fish fries we used to have at Simpsonville Lodge. It was a lot of work but we all enjoyed working together. I didn’t get to see him in the past few years and regret not seeing him. He was a joy to be around. Rest in peace Brother James.
