  • To the man who held my hand every step of the way. To the man I looked to for a smile when I was sad or for an “all right kid” when I jumped far. To the man that held my children safely and lovingly in his arms the same way he held me when I was small. To my angel. You‘ve shown me what it means to be kind, consistent and graceful. I love you Grampy.

I was just 16 years old when you came into my life. A lost teen in desperate need of a role model. Through your quiet grace, you taught me about hope, unconditional love, encouragement, respect, kindness, strength, and the value of hard work. You had faith in me when I didn’t have it in myself. And you did this by just being YOU. In my heart, you were never my “in-law”. You were and always will be my Dad. I will love you always and forever.

p.s. Thank you for letting me beat up your Hyundai while I learned to drive a stick shift.

Andy was the best father in law any one could hope for. He was the reason that my husband is the man he is today. He taught him that love , caring and supporting the woman you love will lead you to a happy life. He would always say to Steve happy wife happy life!
He was one of the best role models you could ever meet and the kind of Dad most people dream about. He use to tell me I amaze him because I always wanted to work outside with him and my husband. The truth is I learned a lot from him and I loved being around him. I will miss him always , but I know god must of needed an angel and he got one of the best!!
