To Gaye’s family and friends she was an angel from heaven she really was. Her beauty shined from inside and out that is what made her be among the best I’ve ever met. I know she will be truly missed. My 🙏 to all.
Gaye was a beautiful and sweet soul – heaven truly gained an angel – prayers and condolences for her family.
I worked with Gaye for many years at the South Carolina Disability Determination Services. Her kind and caring spirit, along with her sharp acumen, were perfectly suited for the public service that our agency provided. Gaye was considered to be an expert at communicating with disability applicants in order to obtain information that was critical in making the appropriate decision in their case. No matter the circumstances, Gaye always treated applicants with empathy and respect. Frankly, that was how she interacted with everyone. She was a beautiful person, inside and out. How many of us can leave our earthly presence with no grounds for anyone to utter a negative word about how we lived our life, as Gaye surely did? I was honored and privileged to be her friend and co-worker. My sincere condolences to her family and the many dear friends that she leaves behind.
I thought of you today. But that’s nothing new. I thought of you yesterday and the days before that too. I think of you in silence. I often speak your name. All I have are memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is a keepsake from which I’ll never part. God has you in his arms. I have you in my heart. You will be truly missed. The short time I had to spend with you has truly been a blessing. Your smile always brightened my day. You were one of the strongest individuals I’ve ever encountered. It’s been a pleasure to meet you this lifetime. Until we meet again. Dee
My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Gaye during this difficult time. Gaye was full of joy!
