Edward William Podlaski

Edward William Podlaski, 57, of Simpsonville, SC, passed from this life Saturday, August 22, 2009. He was a son of the late Edmond and Marie Ratchford Podlaski and the husband of Victoria Skowronski. Mr. Podlaski had been employed as a Blow Molding Manager with Dow Brands for 21 years and then with National Brands for 10 years. More recently he was a supervisor with the H. C. Brill Company in Spartanburg, SC. He graduated from Kean University in NJ with a BA degree. He was an assistant coach for the Hillcrest Girls Golf Team and was a member of Hejaz Country Club. He was a member of Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife Victoria Podlaski of Simpsonville; daughters and sons-in-law Kristina and Horatiu Sana of Simpsonville, Patricia and Shawn Carr of Simpsonville, Kathleen and Emory George of Laurens; brother William Podlaski and sister Mary Gallant both of New Jersey; grandchildren Tiffany, Amberly, A. J., Michael, Travis and Marissa. He was preceded in death by a brother Richard Podlaski.
Rosary Services will be at 6:00p.m. with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at Cannon-Jones Chapel, Simpsonville, SC. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 noon Thursday, August 27, 2009 at Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
