Deborah “Debbie” Campbell Clarke
Deborah “Debbie” Campbell Clarke, 71, wife of Russell D. Clarke, of Greenville, passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021.
Born in Charlotte, she was the daughter of the late Bernice L. and Evon Jones Campbell. Debbie loved to work in the garden and hunt for antiques. Debbie developed friendships all around the world by teaching quilting through her blog. She was selfless, always thinking of others, and was a faithful witness for Christ.
In addition to her husband, Debbie is survived by her daughter, Deana Hunt and her husband, Trey, of Detroit; and a brother, Daniel L. Campbell of Naples, FL; and two nephews, Justin and Remy Campbell.
A private service will be held for the family.
Debbie was such a sweet and loving person. I enjoyed her friendship in WOW at church so much.
Praying for the family.
Debbie was a sweet and special woman whom I met through our Bible study group. She had the most wonderful chuckle when she laughed and her heart was always kind. She will be missed greatly.
My deepest condolences to Debbie’s family whom she dearly loved. I never had the honor of meeting Debbie personally but she was a dear friend to me through her quilting blog. I was always so excited to see a new post from her on Stitchin’ Therapy because I knew she would have some encouraging, kind words for us along with very useful information. She expressed her deep love for the Lord & strived to do His will & share His love. She is praising Him now….face to face.
