Clarette Satterfield Bagwell
Clarette Satterfield Bagwell, 92, of Hwy 14, Simpsonville, passed away at the McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville on February 13. She was the daughter of the late John and Lou Ellen Reynolds Satterfield and a life-long resident of Owings.
Mrs. Bagwell was preceded in death by her husband, Waymon Bagwell. She is survived by a daughter; Nancy Butler, grandson; Samuel “Sammy” (Dawn) Butler and granddaughter; Amy (Don) Baginski, a sister; Ann (Dick) Campbell and sister-in-law; Veda (Gene) Sprouse, great grandchildren; Samantha and Ashley Butler, Andy Baginski and Anna Baginski, Eric (Lauren) Trussell and a nephew; Kevin (Donna) Campbell.
Mrs. Bagwell was an active member of Dials United Methodist Church, a Sunday School teacher, a Youth Leader and a retired bookkeeper with Meadow Brook Farms. She was a member of The Eastern Star Chapter 251. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed her two dogs; “Happy” and “Little Bit”.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to either McCalls Hospice House or the Humane Society of Greenville.
Visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home in Simpsonville from 1 – 2 pm on Thursday, February 21. Chapel service to follow at 2 pm. Pastor Forrest Mixon of Dials United Methodist Church will conduct the service and burial will follow at Cannon Memorial Park Cemetery in Fountain Inn.
Following the service, the family will be at 1109 Chapman Road, Ft. Inn.
