Christine Adams
Christine Adams, 90, of Gray Court, widow of Robert Frank Adams, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Born in Delta, AL, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd Kemp and Icie Cooley.
Christine is survived by her children, Ricky Forbus, Denise McFadden (Scott), and Mike Forbus (Lalena); eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Bob Kemp, Anita Barrett, and Jane Hill.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Libby Massey (Jim); her son, Benny Forbus; two great grandchildren, Brandon Massey and Tyler Bishop; and two sisters, Geraldine and Lonnie.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at Capstone Church; 601 Fairview Street, Fountain Inn, SC 29644. The family will be receiving friends prior to the service beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Interment will be held at Greenville Memorial Gardens following the service.

Though we both only knew Christine a few years – we always found her to be as sweet as a SC peach and beautiful as the sunrise. She was loved and gave more in return. We can now carry her in our hearts. Thelma and John DePolo
