Charles Mack Owens
Charles Mack Owens, 77, of Simpsonville, left to be with our Lord and Savior on June 1, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on July 4, 1947, and raised in the Poe Mill community and graduated from Parker High School. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and was a dedicated supporter of the Disabled Veterans of America.
Mack’s favorite place on earth was his lake house, and he greatly enjoyed fishing. He loved golf, spending time with his family, friends, and dog babies (Cody and Peanut). He always had a smile for everyone despite how he felt any given day. Mack loved to have fun.
Mack’s goal in life was to be a blessing to at least one person every day. He was generous, kind, and giving to his community, friends and family. He frequently rode his golf cart to go check on the neighbors and make his rounds. He was passionate about helping others and was loved by many. Mack was devoted to his family and loved them all very deeply. Most importantly he was a Christian and he loved the Lord. One of his favorite verses was, “It is more blessed to give than to receive”. Acts 20:35
Survived by his loving wife, Rhonda Owens, his children: Heather Owens (Todd Mathews) and Kim (Matt) Childress; grandchildren: Wesley and Gavin Childress; sisters: Linda Tinsley and Carolyn (Wayne) Turner.
