Carolyn White Farley Snow
Mrs. Carolyn, 88, of Simpsonville went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, November 13, 2025.
Born in Midland, GA, she was a daughter of the late Oliver and Carrie Hamby.
She is survived by her son Barry (Anita) White; grandchildren, Matthew Troop, John Troop, Ashley (Jeremy) Curlee and Trey Nivens and many great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, John White, Harmon Farley and Bill Snow; daughter, Dena Troop and her siblings, Edward Hamby, Herman Hamby and Jean Baugus.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 5:30 PM at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home – Simpsonville at 313 North Main Street Simpsonville, SC 29681. The family will receive friends following the service.
Barry and Anita I feel very blessed to have been able to care for Carolyn the few times I did. She was always a pleasure to take care of.
Carolyn was a sweet soul. I enjoyed knowing her. I’m sorry for your loss.
I have known Carolyn since I was a young child. In fact she would keep me when our Mother’s were doing something with Eastern Star, as they were very close friends. I enjoyed a special Joy Fellowship trip with her several years ago to Myrtle Beach.
At breakfast the next day she showed me the best way to eat pancakes! …. You start with the center! I loved Carolyn and will never forget her! You all will be in my prayers!
