Bobby Wilson

Bobby Lewis Wilson, 79, of Simpsonville, passed away on November 29, 2016 at home after a short illness. He was the son of the late Adam and Ruth Wilson. Bobby and his wife, Gunilla, shared 48 years of marriage together. Later in their career, they enjoyed traveling together around the US and Canada as driver and host for tour groups.

In addition to his wife, Bobby is survived by two brothers Parks (Elizabeth) and Boyce Wilson, both of Rutherfordton, NC; and a number of nieces and nephews, including two special nephews in Sweden.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a bother John Carl Wilson.

The family offers a special thanks to their niece, Tanya Gantt, for her help during the past few years.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to either the Greenville Humane Society, 305 Airport Rd., Greenville, SC 29607 or the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way A, Greenville, SC 29615.

Per Bobby’s wishes, there will be a private service for the family.
