Margaret Avanell Fuller South
Margaret Avanell Fuller South, 84, of Simpsonville, wife of Jay W. South for 65 years, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Saturday, April 3, 2021 while at home with her family.
Mrs. South was born in Joanna to the late Toy and Esther Wesson Fuller. She was retired from J & A Laundry Service after 40 years. Avanell loved to travel, cook, and had a passion for helping others. She was a member of Mauldin Church of God and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was born again.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Tony South and wife, Dana Ware; a daughter, Tina Ballenger and husband, Kerry and a grandson, Nicholas Turner. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Terry South; a brother, Charles Fuller and a sister, Shirley Davenport.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday at Mauldin Church of God. Burial will follow at Cannon-Byrd Memorial Park.
Christie and are shocked and greatly saddened over the loss of Avanell. She was always such a sweet and caring lady. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. We know that she has received her reward and is safely in the arms of Jesus, hallelujah. We will be praying for you Jay and all of your family for strength and peace during this difficult time.
