Frank Charles Bergman
Frank Charles Bergman, 86, of Greenville, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023 while surrounded by his family.
Born in Ostrow Wielkopolski, Poland, he was the son of the late Edmund & Wanda Ast.
Mr. Bergman is survived by his daughter, Lisa Bergman Ackerman; his granddaughters, Katie Ackerman and her son, Thomas Ackerman, and Lindsay Ackerman. Additional family members include, Teresa Shelf and her husband Chip; Luke Mitchell, Lydia Shelf, Emily Mitchell, and Michael Shelf.
Frank was my neighbor in Dahlonega. I thought of him often and was hoping to find him before he passed. His friendship meant alot to me and my children. I have a sweet letter that he wrote me. He had a tough shell, that’s for sure. We attended lots of activities at my college together and enjoyed our little town fireworks.
I’m so sorry for your loss Lisa. I remember how hard he worked on the camping pad he made for y’all’s visits. Gosh I wish I could’ve seen him before his passing.
He was a good man. 💔
