Mary Louise Devall

Mary Louise Devall, born Mary Louise Phillips on May 23, 1942, was the only child of Harold and Mary Phillips.  Mary Louise gained her angel wings on December 4, 2022 at the age of 80 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Devall of almost 60 years, her daughter, Chris (Tom) Coats, her granddaughter, Lindsey (Bradlee Baker) Coats all of Beaufort, SC

Mary Louise was graduate of Hillcrest High School, Simpsonville, SC.  She was Miss Simpsonville in 1961, her talent was playing the piano, what an amazing talent she had, she did not read music, she played everything by ear.  She was voted the “wittiest”  by her senior high school class.  Mary Louise was always smiling, laughing and never met a stranger.  Anyone that knew Mary Louise knew that she was the most loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend anyone could ask for.

There will be a graveside service on December 16, 2022 at 12:00pm at Simpsonville Municipal Cemetery, Academy Street, Simpsonville.
