Thomas Warren Wright
Thomas W. Wright, 82, of Easley, husband of Beverly Ann Trickey Wright, died on Thursday, March 3, 2016 while at home with his family by his side.
Born March 13, 1933, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, Mr. Wright was a son of the late Cecil B. Wright and the late Velma E. Olson.
Mr. Wright served our country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a past member of the Leesburg Masonic Lodge #58 of Leesburg, FL.; and a past member of the Bahia Shrine of Orlando, FL. Mr. Wright was a current member of the American Legion Post #52 of Easley. He thoroughly enjoyed reading and being on the golf course with friends.
In addition to his wife, Beverly, of 60+ years, Mr. Wright is survived by two sons, Todd Roger Wright of N.C. and John David Wright and his wife, Lydia, of Simpsonville; four grandchildren, Brandy Renea Garrett (Shaun) of Rock Hill, Allison Wright of N.C., Forrest Aaron Wright of N.C., and James Warren Wright also of N.C.; two brothers, Richard James Wright and his wife, Jo Ann, of Oregon and Cecil Bruce Wright and his wife, Linda, of Calif.; and two sisters, Ann Helene Sigourney of OK and Mary Margaret Bagby and her husband, Jim, also of OK.
Services for the family and close friends will be held at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery, 140 Inway Drive, Anderson, S.C. 29621 at 11:00 am on Friday, April 22, 2016.
