Betty Marie Wetzel
Betty Marie Wetzel, 96, of Simpsonville, widow of George Wetzel, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020. Born in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late William and Marie Beck Watson. Second only to her family, her great loves throughout life were reading about world history, watching opera, and baking wonderful apple pies
Mrs. Wetzel is survived by her two sons, James Wetzel and his wife, Honami, of Mauldin and Thomas Wetzel and his wife, Mary, of Milwaukee; and two grandsons, George and Alex Wetzel.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers William and Edward Watson.
