Matthew Robert Budney, age 41, passed away unexpectedly on August 13, 2024. Matthew was the youngest son of P. Ann Case of Fountain Inn and the late Robert L. Budney of Woodbury, Connecticut.  In addition to his mother, Matthew is survived by his stepfather George E. Hammond; one brother, Clifton Budney; and two half-sisters, Carlene Budney Gordon of Stratford, Connecticut, and Christy Budney Monroe of Niantic, Connecticut.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 11:00 am at Presbyterian Fellowship of Fountain Inn, 417 S. Main St.  The family will receive friends at the church starting at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Presbyterian Fellowship of Fountain Inn, P.O. Box 429, Fountain Inn, SC.
