Jean Elaine Thomas
Jean Elaine Thomas, 77, of Simpsonville, SC, widow of Wilbert Thomas Sr., passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, W.I., she was a daughter of the late Uriah and Ethlyn Bredwood.
Jean is survived by daughter, Melissa Thomas (Elan Quashie); five grandchildren, Jayden Thomas, Alexander Thomas, Londyn Thomas, Morgan Thomas, and Saige Quashie; three siblings, Berisford Bredwood (Lesline), Carl Johnson (Patricia), and June Bredwood King; sister-in-law, Joyce Thomas James; a niece, Shenelle Enos (Seth); and a nephew, Andrew King.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Wilbert Thomas Jr.; and two sisters, Yvonne Andrade and Dolly Lopez.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home- Fountain Inn. Inurnment will follow in Cannon-Byrd Memorial Park.
My most deepest and heartfelt condolences to the family. The hardest part of loving and caring for a person is saying good-bye. This is just a temporary separation dear Jean. Someday, we all be reunited in God’s glory.
