Wilma Jean Whitlatch

Wilma J. Whitlatch, 73, of Simpsonville, wife of Alan Vere Whitlatch for 54 years went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, November 4, 2024.

Born in Mason City, Iowa, she was a daughter of the late Paul A. & Miriam Zugmier Madden. Mrs. Whitlatch was a member of Brookwood Church.

In addition to her husband, Alan, she is survived by their daughters, Laura Jean Haney (Joe), and Jennifer Ann Moore (Brad); five grandchildren, Aaron Haney (Beth), Nathan Haney, Kaitlyn Moore, Matthew Moore, and Timothy Moore; one brother, Paul Madden (Lori); and two sisters, Donna Wallingford and Dorothy McDowell (Dan).

Wilma loved God, her family and her friends and served them well throughout her life. She enjoyed the beach, sunflowers and scenic drives.

A celebration of her life will be planned soon.

In lieu of flowers, gifts to honor Wilma may be made to Dustin’s Dream mission organization in Siloam Springs, AR.
