William Wingate

William Donald Wingate 59, of Greenville passed away on Sunday December 14, 2008. Donald was the husband of Elizabeth Sammons Wingate and the son of the late Joe Lee Wingate and the late Hattie Mae Yewings Wingate. Donald was a security Guard and of the Baptist Faith. Donald loved and served his country although not in listed in service. He assisted in the motor pool operations and anywhere he could help out.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters: April Julie Marsh of Greenville, Carrie Michelle Hitt of Fountain Inn, four grandchildren: Sharon Marsh of Simpsonville, Noah Hitt of Fountain Inn, Jacob Hitt of Fountain Inn, Christopher Kearse of Greenville, two sisters: Frances Martin and husband Dude of York and Martha Kay Graham and husband Daryl of Piedmont.

A visitation will be on Thursday December 18, 2008 from noon- 2:00 pm at Cannon Funeral Home Jones Chapel. The service will be on Thursday December 18, 2008 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Cannon Funeral Home Jones Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
