William Rice “Bill” Cook, Jr.
William Rice “Bill” Cook, Jr., of Anderson, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2012.
Born in Owings, he was a son of the late William Rice Cook, Sr. and Eva Humphrey Cook. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, was retired from the construction business, and was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Cook is survived by a son, William Rice “Will” Cook, III and wife Amy; two daughters, Allison DeAnne Jordan and husband Matt, and Elizabeth Ashley McLendon; nine grandchildren, Caroline, Charli-Anna, Laurel Claire, Fielding Rice, Emma, Bella, Cade, Jackson, and Sam; and a sister, Martha Britt. He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Jo Pickles.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 15, 2012 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the home of Will and Amy Cook, 209 North Avenue, Anderson, SC 29625. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at 2:30 pm at Harmony Cemetery in Fountain Inn.
