Walter Grady Johnson

Walter Grady Johnson, age 48, husband of Virginia Sewell Johnson, passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2012.

Born in Greenville, he was a son of Aubrey H. Johnson and the late Anne Collins Johnson. Mr. Johnson owned Wild Child Trucking Company.

In addition to his wife of 23 years and his father, Mr. Johnson is survived by two daughters, Millie Miller and husband Everett, and Michelle Hawkins and husband Jimmy; and two grandchildren, Sara Rose Simpson and James Eric Hawkins. He was predeceased by a grandson, Christopher Dillon Simpson.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Cannon Funeral Home Chapel, 1150 North Main Street, Fountain Inn with burial in Cannon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 1, 2012 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Cannon Funeral Home.

The family will be at the home of his father, Aubrey Johnson, 1429 Scuffletown Road, Simpsonville.
