Vivian Arlene Compton, 93, of Simpsonville, SC, widow of Paul Compton, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Born in Peoria, IL, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Martha Dyer Rinker.
Vivian is survived by four children, Robert Paul Compton (Paula), Patricia Ann Fry, William Hugh Compton, and Donald Ray Compton (Sandra); four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a sister, Donna Lillard.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in Graceland East Memorial Park.

My Aunt Vivian… I think of her as a bright shining star. Always cheerful, caring and kind, sweet and funny! So pretty, I called her my “glamorous Aunt V” I will miss her but she will live in my heart forever.
