Victor Rafael Landaeta

Victor Rafael Landaeta, 68, of Greenville, widower of the late Ana Maria Aceiton-Arce, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 1, 2025.

Born in La Victoria Aragua, Venezuela, he was one of seven children.

He is survived by three children, Ana Luisa Escobar Aceiton (Jorge Matamala, Sr) of Simpsonville, Jose Antonio Escobar Aceiton and his spouse of Chile, and Marcela Alejandra Escobar Aceiton (Julian Duque, Sr) of Simpsonville; nine grandchildren, Jorge Matamala, Ana Matamala, Alexandra Matamala, Julian Duque, Felipe Matamala, Jose Escobar, Augusto Duque, Ana Escobar, and Bastian Escobar; four great grandchildren, Isaiah Matamala, Romeo Matamala, Mathias Sanchez, and Valerie Escobar; and brothers, Astolfo Landaeta, Augusto Landaeta and Alberto Landaeta.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

A visitation will be held at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home – Simpsonville, at 313 North Main Street, Simpsonville, SC 29681 on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM.  Interment will take place following the Funeral Mass in Graceland East Memorial Park.
