Shirley ,Ashley, Nick Camilo and the O’Dell family, it is with heartfelt sympathy that I feel for each of you. You have lost a wonderful, husband, father , grandfather, and brother. I had gotten to know and enjoy each time that I saw Ray and Shirley ,especially at the Coach House. The always seemed so happy, and always had a sweet smile and greeting. I know that all that knew him will sorely miss him. Sometime we would talk about the days when he was in the Funeral Home in Fountain Inn and the moving to Travelers Rest. Some people called his Dad, “Digger O’Dell”. To the family, May GOD make smooth the path before you in the days and months ahead. May the love of Christ be with you and comfort you. Your friend in Christ. Ray RIP.

Shirley, my thoughts and prayers are with you, your daughter, and grandsons as you go through this difficult journey. Ray was a great guy and he will be missed. I remember him at Fountain Inn Grammar School and Hillcrest High School, but sort of lost touch until he married you, one of my best friends at Hillcrest. Sending love and prayers, Becky Barbrey Hamor-Frier.

Shirley, Ashley, and family. I am so very sorry to hear of Ray’s passing. When we lived in Simpsonville, we ran into you’ll occasionally at Coach House. I was down on Jonesville Rd. knocking on doors, made me remember Ray from long ago when working together in P.O. I looked him up online to see if you’ll were still there and his obituary came up. Ray was a good man and great to work with. I was a rural carrier in Simpsonville- you might remember me. Love & Prayers to you all
