Tammy Boucounis, 63, of Simpsonville, widow of Thomas Gabriel Boucounis, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, August 29, 2026

Born in Birmingham, AL, she was a daughter of the late Jack & Carol Burns.

Mrs. Boucounis is survived by her children, Kristin M. Adams (Christopher), Melissa L. Smoak (Zach Matthews), Erica Maclure (Jeremy), and Gabrielle A. Boucounis; grandchildren, Sawyer C. Adams, Keeley E. Adams, Bryson Matthews, and Briggs Matthews; and two siblings, Cyndi Hanna (Ross), and Brian Burns, Jr. (Denise).  

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at 5:00 pm at Cannon Byrd Funeral Home – Simpsonville, 313 N. Main St., Simpsonville, SC 29681. Entombment in the Cannon Byrd Memorial Park Mausoleum will be private for the family.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home starting at 4:00 pm.
