Susan Rebecca Goins
Susan Rebecca Goins, 67, of Simpsonville, wife of Samuel Goins, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023.
Born in Shelby, NC, Mrs. Goins was a daughter of the late Summie & Martha Weast.
In addition to her husband, Samuel, she is survived by her children, Sandy (Mark) Vitanza, Ray (Jessica) Goins, and Erica Goins; five grandchildren, Sean Goins, Justin Vitanza, Shyanne Adams, Savannah Adams, and Corbit Goins; and one sister, Jane (Steve) Falls.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Towery.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the Heritage Chapel of Cannon Byrd Funeral Home – Simpsonville, 313 N. Main St, Simpsonville, SC 29681. Interment will be in Shelby, NC.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home starting at 1:00 pm.
Cannon Byrd Funeral Home – Simpsonville is assisting the family.
Susan was my neighbor and friend. I will surely miss her. I was just talking to her, yes Sam, in the street, on Monday before her stroke. We had many conversations this way. May God grant Peace and Healing to her family. Sam, you know where we are.

Over the years, that page has grown to over 13,000 members and continues to grow! She certainly made a difference in the lives of many animals and their owners. So many pets have been reunited because of her, and they will continue to be. RIP, Susan. You will certainly be missed.

Sandy, I am so heartbroken for you and your family. I didn’t know her very well, but I know how much you loved her by how you spoke of her and I know this is a huge loss for your family. I wish you strength and comfort as you get through this. Hugs.

Sue was like a second mom to me growing up me and Erica sure gave her a run for her money sometimes loved being at their house all the time she was a wonderful person and will surely be missed by so many! My love and thoughts to the whole family all the way from Delaware!
