Stuart B. Cohen

Stuart B. Cohen, 71, of Simpsonville, husband of Joan Favorito Cohen, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020.

Born in Manhattan, NY, he was the son of the late Martin and Sylvia Cohen. Mr. Cohen Served our country in the U.S. Navy and retired as a Police Officer with the New York City Police Department.

In addition to his wife, Joan, he is survived by his children, Jackie Sorci, Rich Cohen, Michael Cohen (Alex), Joshua Cohen (Rachael), and Leanne Cohen; and his grandchildren, Aurelio Sorci, Sydney Cohen, Rachelle Cohen, Jacob Cohen, and Rhett Cohen.

He was preceded in death by one son, Spencer Ross Cohen.

A Funeral Service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. in the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Barrett officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.

Interment will be on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. in the Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC, 29229.
