Shawn Joseph Ancone

Shawn “Pinecone” Ancone, 30, of Columbia, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2020.

Born in Greenville, he was a son of Lisa Melton Burdette and Michael Ancone.

In addition to his parents, Pinecone is survived by his siblings, Michelle Gummel, Pam Jaret, Jessica Ancone, Tiffany Smith (Ashton), and Michael Ancone; his grandmother, Patricia Thomas; his nieces and nephews, Daniel Eaton, Triston Jaret, Brayden Filbin, and Emilee Filbin; and his step-dad, Jimmy Burdette.

A Funeral Service will be held for the immediate family (due to COVID-19) at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 in the chapel of Cannon Funeral Home. Others that are not able to be inside due to “social distancing” will be able to hear the entire service from outside the funeral home. The burial will follow in Cannon Memorial Park with the family receiving friends following the committal service. The family requests that those attending wear casual attire and something red.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to the Knuckleheads RC directly or through the funeral home.

I hope you find comfort in knowing Pinecone is with the good Lord above. Wishing you thoughts of peace and courage for you to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts.
