Sergio Burgos
Bishop Sergio Burgos, 90, of Simpsonville, husband of Rose Mary Burgos of 51 years, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, June 15, 2021.
Mr. Burgos was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico to the late Lucas and Mercedes Sancez Burgos. He was retired from NY City Transit as a Motorman.
Surviving, in addition to his wife are three sons, Sergio Burgos, Bishop Sergio Luis Burgos and Vidal Burgos; a daughter, Ana E. Burgos; four grandchildren, Vidal Kiriath Burgos, Alisha Burgos, Sergio Noel Burgos and Emilio Burgos; three great-grandchildren and seven siblings. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three siblings.
The family will receive friends from 5-8pm Friday and from 1-4pm Saturday at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home.
Graveside Services will be 4:00pm Saturday at Cannon-Byrd Memorial Park.
