Scott Wayne Evon, 35, of Fountain Inn, SC, passed from this life Friday, July 31, 2009. Born in Phoenix AZ. a son of Wayne and Pamela Douglas Evon Scott was a heavy equipment mechanic who also loved fishing, coaching T-ball, working on cars and doing outdoor activities. He often volunteered to assist in the Fountain Inn recreation programs.

Survivors include his parents Wayne and Pamela Evon ; wife Michele Mahon; children Brooke, Michaela, Taylor, Maggie, Scottie and Keira; sisters Kim Newton, Heather Evon and husband Noice all of Fountain Inn, SC and sister Vickie Hare and husband Ben of Enoree, SC.

He was preceded in death by a brother James D. Hunt.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009, at Cannon Funeral Home, Fountain Inn, SC with Lenny Ponder officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
