Sally Davis Davenport
Sally D. Davenport, 84, of Simpsonville, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2016.
“Miss Sally” was the wife of the late Larry Davenport and the daughter of the late Cecil Davis and Flora Karnes. She was a home maker and a member of Temple Baptist Church where she was a faithful member and long time Sunday School teacher in the Children’s department.
She is survived by one daughter, Rose Strickland, of Simpsonville; and two sons, Carey Davenport, and his wife, Susan, of Simpsonville, and Gil Davenport and his wife, Angela, of Gray Court; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Graceland West Cemetery, 4814 White Horse Rd, Greenville.
