Ruth Jones
Ruth Celia Jones, age 84, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013.
Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late William Roy and Victoria Pruit Padgett. She was retired from Kemet and was a member of Fountain Inn Church of God of Prophecy.
Mrs. Jones is survived by three sons, Randy Morris and wife Stephanie, Wayne Morris and wife Roseanne, and Mike Morris; a daughter, Cynthia Morris; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Green, Gladys Cooley, and Linda Faye Padgett; and a brother, Bob Padgett.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Fountain Inn Church of God of Prophecy conducted by Rev. Wess Jordan and Rev. Brother Christopher with burial to follow in Cannon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at the church prior to the service.
