Ruth Carol Whitlock Calvert, 79, of Simpsonville, widow of Jerry Lewis Calvert, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, August 11, 2021.
Born in Olcott, WV, Mrs. Calvert was a daughter of the late Raymond and Ina Jane Whitlock. She was a member of Grace Community Bible Church.
Mrs. Calvert is survived by her three sons, Michael Calvert and his wife, Allison, Timothy Wright, and David Wright and his wife, Michelyne; a daughter, Kristie Calvert Ledford; two sisters, Mary Jo Gray and Shellie Sammons; five brothers, Alan, Terry, Elwood, Wayne, and Mark Whitlock; thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 2:00 pm in Graceland East Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to: Grace Community Bible Church, 604 South Street, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
