Robert Joseph Fandel

Robert Joseph Fandel, 67, of Simpsonville, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2019. Born in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late Paul John Fandel and the late Veronica Wall Fandel.

Robert is survived by his three daughters, Christine Heartwell of Independence, KS, Rene Culp and her husband, Gerald, of Graytown, OH, and Karen Hansel and her husband, Garry, of Simpsonville; eleven grandchildren, Michael Simons, Matthew, Mark, Susan, and Amber Dutcher, Catherine Marie Heartwell, Adam Simmonds, Payton and Gage Binkley, and Jackson and Mason Hansel; five great grandchildren; a brother, Paul Fandel and his wife, Patti, of Mulberry, FL; and a sister, June Fair and her husband, Edward, of Cape Cod, MA.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his grandson, James Clingan, and his sister, Catherine Vitiello.

A Memorial Service and inurnment will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019 at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson at 10:00 am.
