Rita Gaye Steele
Rita Gaye Steele, 64, of Simpsonville, loving wife of Daniel Michael Steele, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
Born in Rota, Spain, she was a daughter of the late Malcolm and Pauline Gambrell.
Rita thoroughly enjoyed spending time with all her family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Jonathan Balcombe, Nathan Balcombe, Lauren Steele and Matt (Jenn) Steele; grandchildren, Carter Steele, Avery Steele and Easton Steele; siblings, Sheila (Cliff) Dunaway and Terry (Betty Ann) Gambrell; and a sister-in-law, Debbie Steele.
The family will be at the home at 304 Shadow Ridge Circle, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
