Richard A. Murphy
Richard “Rick” Alan Murphy, 50, husband of Penny Raye Murphy, passed away on September 8, 2022. Born in Phoenix, Arizona, he is a son of Barbara and Robert J. Murphy.
Rick loved politics and spent several years as a Representative of the Arizona House and then as Senator of the Arizona Senate. He loved his family and was a big advocate for children’s rights.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by five children, Enrique “Ricky”, Celeste, Andrea, LiSandra, and Erica; and one grandson, Joaquin Jullian “JJ.”
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
