Rev. Lewis Arthur Pinner
Rev. Lewis Arthur Pinner, Jr., 89, of Greenville went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, March 20, 2010. He was the husband of Mildred Emma (M.E.) Besore Pinner and the son of the late Lewis Arthur Pinner, Sr., and the late Doris Speer Pinner. Art was a retired minister of the gospel, police officer, insurance adjuster, and WW II Navy veteran.
Art is survived by M.E., his wife of 68 years, his two sons: Jay-Martin Pinner and his wife Dianne of Greenville, Jonathan Pinner and his wife Marlena of Travelers Rest, one sister: June Mathis, and four grandchildren and their spouses.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 23, 2010, at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Cannon Funeral Home, Fountain Inn. Burial will follow the service in Cannon Memorial Park.
