Ken, my heart is holding you and your family close. I, too, have a daughter in Heaven. There are simply no words. The one thing that God reminded me of during that time was, of all the wombs in the world, I choose yours! I remind myself daily that my precious angel, Desiree’ was a gift that I will always treasure and I wouldn’t trade those 19 years with her for anything in the world. God chose you too with the precious gift of Rachael. Hold on to your memories and mostly hold on to God. He is the only thing that can carry us when we can’t even stand. Keeping you and your family in my prayers and holding you close in heart.

    Ken,
Losing a child IS the hardest thing you will ever experience. Dan & I lost our first child, a son, and the only advice we can give is… keep thinking of things to be thankful for about her. That’s the only way to keep looking up instead of spiraling down. Blessings to you and yours.

  • Oh, Ken, it must be the hardest thing in the world to lose a child, young or grown. My heart goes out to your family and I pray that you feel comfort and ultimately, peace. Your tourism colleague, Mary Huff

Our prayers, sympathy and yes even rejoicings go to you Mary Nann, Ken, Becky and all the family. I remember the joy that Rachel brought to all of you when she was born and I know she brought joy to a multitude of people in the short life that she lived and the way she served her Lord and so many more. I know she is a bright light today in God’s presence and all of those who loved her and welcomed her home. Today may that complete peace that comes only through God be poured out on all of you. Our love and prayers shall always be with you. Pastor Martin Atkins and family
