Phyllis ‘Sue’ McKnight

Sue McKnight, 82, of Belton, widow of Daniel McKnight, Sr., died on Friday, April 12, 2019.

Born in Toledo, OH, she was a daughter of the late Russell Cole and Francis Henderson.

She is survived by her son, Daniel McKnight Jr. and his wife, Rhonda, of Fountain Inn; her daughter, Gwen Schortgen and her fiancé, James Seigler, of Belton; grandchildren, Tina Hammontree (Seth), Tara Lester (David), Tyler Smiddy (Alexa), Scott McKnight, Kyle Schortgen (Julie), Amber Coe (Travis Brock), Brandon Schortgen, Devin Baden, and Raven Baden; and one sister, Florence Huff.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Glenn McKnight, and Matt McKnight; one daughter, Kay M. Baden; one grandson, Eric McKnight; and one sister, Delores Thomas.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 2:30 PM in the Cannon Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Cannon Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service starting at 1:00 PM.

    We were so SORRY to read of your Mother’s passing. We will have each of you in our hearts in Prayer. We Pray God will give each of you His peace that passes all understanding now and forever.. We love you guys very much and are Praying for you. We know she is complete well and has no more pain. She has been reunited with all the ones that have gone before her. We have the promise that we will see her again when our time here is complete and that is The Best Is Yet To Come..
