Pauline Hendricks Gambrell

Pauline Hendricks Gambrell, 90, of Simpsonville, widow of Malcolm Eugene Gambrell, was welcomed into her Savior’s arms on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.  Born in Six Mile, she was a daughter of the late Onest Folger & Addie Smith Hendricks.

Mrs. Gambrell is survived by two daughters, Sheila Dunaway (Clifton) and Rita Steele (Danny); and one son, Terry Gambrell (Betty Ann); eight grandchildren, Joshua (Nikki), Justin, Jonathan, Nathan, Keenan (Marissa), Kaitlyn (Daniel), Lauren, and Matt (Jennifer); thirteen great-grandchildren, Leilah, Lana, Thomas, Lily, Hunter, Fisher, Larkin Jaymes, Charlotte Grace, Colm, Ciaran, Carter, Avery, and Easton; one brother, Ernest Hendricks; and two sisters, Bobbie Jean Kennedy (Kit), and Carolyn McMahan (Terry).

She was preceded in death by three brothers, and seven sisters.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 3:00 pm in the Cannon Byrd Funeral Home – Simpsonville Chapel, 313 N. Main St., Simpsonville, SC 29681. Interment will be private for the family.

The family will receive friends starting at 2:00 pm.
