Patti was born on March 10, 1954, to her late parents Dorothy Ruth Quinn and James Frances Quinn. She was born and raised in HI. She trusted Jesus Christ as Savior at Grace Baptist Church of Santa Barbara, CA in her early 20s.  That is also where she met her late husband of 35 years Robert Allen Kelley.

She is survived by her daughter Erin Jones and son-in-law Sam, both of Simpsonville, SC.   Also, her son Adam Kelley and daughter-in-law LaTosha, of San Antonio, TX.  She has 6 Grandchildren: Bryson, Landon, Ashlyn, Madelyn, Hudson, and Mairin. Additionally, she leaves behind her twin sister Michelle Erskine, residing in Simpsonville, SC.

Patti loved teaching and impacted many lives for Christ through her years in Christian Education. Through the many different places Patti and Bob served God, they made many friends.  She most recently worked part time at Kohls in Easley, SC in customer service.

Her warm smile, gentle spirit, and compassionate heart touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Pattie had a way of making people feel valued and loved, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.

A visitation will be held at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home – Simpsonville on July 28, 2023, from 4-6 pm.

A Graveside Service will be held at Greenville Memorial Gardens at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 29, 2023.

praying for y’all’s family 🩷. I worked with Patti at kohls for 4 years when I was just 16 years old . Patti and I had a lot of time to talk about life and the future while working together . I knew when I needed a hug or a cry Ms. Patti would be there.

  • More than 30 years of friendship has brought many fond memories of time spent together at church, school events, holidays, birthdays and so much more. I will miss our long phone conversations and discussions. God brought our families together and knit our hearts together. I will miss you my dear friend.

Mrs. Kelley, you were the best first grade teacher and always encouraged me to give my best work because that’s giving our best to God. I get to teach that to my students too as I’ve been a first grade teacher for the past 6 years. Praying for all the family at this time for God’s comfort. Heaven is looking sweeter everyday!

    We LOVE Patti!

She was so many things to us: a neighbor, a friend, an aunt, a tutor/teacher to my daughter, a mentor, sometimes mom, but always a sister in Christ.

We miss movie nights with her, and I miss our political conversations lol. Life is NOT the same without Patti.

I speak on behalf of our entire family when I say it was a privilege to have friendship with her ….

    I’m truth,

    Brian, Lezah, and Giovanna Cruz
