Norman Semmler

Norman Semmler, 85, of Simpsonville, passed away on Sunday, April 10 2016.

He was the husband of Ursula Tiedemann and the son of the late Rudolph Semmler and the late Hildegard Scheibe.

Norman was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church and a retired Textile Engineer in Textile Design.

In addition to his wife he is survived by four sons, Clifford and his wife, Jeannette, of Wisconsin, Douglas and his wife, Elizabeth, of Simpsonville, Bradford and his wife, Sue, of Australia and Kenneth and wife, Tracey, of Piedmont; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Cornelia Sullivan Adams.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
