Michael “Troy” Bargeron

Michael “Troy” Bargeron passed away in his home in Fountain Inn, South Carolina on Thursday, February 29th, 2024 after a brave fight with cancer.

Troy was born on February 14th, 1964 to Pat Garrett and the late Don Bargeron in Augusta, Georgia. He married his wife, Angie, in 1984 and they recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. He was a devoted daddy to two daughters, Savannah and Candice, one son, TJ (Anna), and a beloved Pops to three grandchildren: Trent (16), Braxton (9), and Bethany (6). He was, also, preceded in death by his son-in-law, Andy. Troy had three brothers: Donny, Shawn, and Jamie; one sister: Sharon; and four step-siblings: Missy, “Bubba,” Jody, and Brad. He was, also, loved by many, many additional family members and friends. He owned Quality Collision in Simpsonville, SC for 20 years, and was a highly respected and well-known man in his community. He loved cruising with Angie, spending time with his children and grandchildren, playing golf with his friends, working with his hands, and living every day to the fullest.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 10th at 2:30 PM at Belleview Meadows in Fountain Inn, with a memorial service immediately following at 4 o’clock. After the service, the family will be available for more receiving of friends. All who knew and loved Troy are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for memorials to be made to Hospice of the Upstate in honor of Troy and his time under their care. The family is especially grateful for the compassion shown to Troy by his hospice care team: Wimberly Cox, Lisa Risener, Robin Gundana, and Chaplain Deon Louw. Link:https://hospiceoftheupstate.com/

We were so sorry to hear about Troy’s passing. He and Mr. Don were one of Bob’s first customers when he became a toolman. He became more than a customer he became a friend.
